Centro Polesano di Studi Storici Archeologici ed Etnografici

The Fototeca Regionale holds around 1,400 photographs of archaeological and ethnographic finds that at the time of the photographic campaign were in the Centro Polesano di Studi Storici Archeologici ed Etnografici (CPSAE), founded in Rovigo in 1964. The CPSAE collections later became part of the Museo delle Civiltà in Polesine (now the Museo dei Grandi Fiumi).

The photographs were taken between 1975 and 1979. The prints attached to the negatives bear the signatures of the first president Nino Suriani and Gian Battista Siviero, the CPSAE founder and director.

The material can be viewed in the Photo Library.
